Here's a Pete Rose card collectors simply don't have. It's a birthday card for one of the all-time hit king's friends, and bears Rose's name among others. Sent during his rookie season of 1963, it comes with the original envelope with the recipient's name filled out in Rose's hand. There are 21 signatures overall, including Rose, Robinson, Pinson, and other teammates. Rose added the inscription: "If you can let me no (sic) when you want to come to the ball game I would be to let two passes two days before you want to come." Well, points off for grammar and syntax. The card is EX while the signatures average 8/10.
