Displayed is a great multi-signed album page with the signatures of seven (7) Hall of Famers: Frank "Home Run" Baker, Charles Albert "Chief" Bender, Charles "Kid" Nichols, Tris "The Gray Eagle" Speaker, Ed Walsh, Robert "Lefty" Grove, and George L. "High Pockets" Kelly. The album page comes from an autograph album that originated with a Boston Red Sox batboy. There are 18 additional signatures. Not only does the aforementioned list of Hall of Famers have some terrific nicknames, but the group sports some great statistics: Chief Bender went 212-127 with a 2.46 ERA in a 16-year career, mostly with the Philadelphia Athletics; in the Dead Ball Era, Home Run Baker hit a total of 41 home runs from 1911-14, yet as a third baseman with the Philadelphia Athletics, he led the American League in home runs for those four straight years, with totals of 11, 10, 12, and 9; Tris Speaker was a defensive marvel in center field and batted a career .345; Kid Nichols won 362 games, mostly in the National League with Boston; in a career almost entirely with the Chicago White Sox, Ed Walsh went 195-126, with a 1.82 ERA; Lefty Grove won exactly 300 games in a career split between the Chicago White and the Boston Red Sox; George "High Pockets" Kelly was nicknamed "High Pockets" because, in his era, a 6'4" first baseman really did have high pockets. Mostly a New York Giant, Kelly batted a career .297 and led the NL two times in RBIs. Other signatures include stars Howard Ehmke (2), and Stuffy McInnis, a first baseman and a member of the Philadelphia Athletics' famed $"100,000 Infield." Plus MORE.

The autograph page measures 4.3x6". The page exhibits some darkening and there is some light foxing around the edges. Seven circular holes are machine punched on an edge as a means to keep the page in an autograph book. The signatures are in blue or black fountain ink, and they average about 8/10. The offering comes with a PSA LOA for the signatures. In this auction are other autograph pages from the same album, with various teams and notable players.
