Personal check, dated May 5, 1920, signed by legendary Hall of Fame shortstop Honus Wagner. The check, drawn on The First National Bank of Carnegie, Pennsylvania, is made out to "John J. Joyer" in the amount of $65.00. Beautifully signed "John H. Wagner" in black fountain pen (grading 10/10) along the base (a few of the cancellation holes touch upon Wagner's signature). Wagner's name is preprinted along the left border. Endorsed by the recipient on the reverse. The check (8.25x3"), which has normal bank cancellation stamps and holes, displays three vertical folds, very light staining and creasing near the left border, and a tiny tear along the bottom left border.
