Displayed is a Honus Wagner signed GEM MINT index card. Wagner, known for his speed and German ancestry as "the Flying Dutchman", played 21 Major League seasons (1897-1921, all but the first three, when he was with the Louisville Colonels, with the Pittsburgh Pirates. A superior shortstop, Wagner could play almost any position. He batted a career .328, with 3,420 hits, 101 home runs and 723 steals. He was a 1909 World Champion, and an 8-time NL batting champ. Wagner was an inaugural Hall of Fame inductee. He later became a long-time coach, mostly with hitting, with the Pirates. Wagner worked to help future Hall of Famers Ralph Kiner, Arky Vaughn, and Pie Traynor with their batting. 

The offered card measures 3x5". Honus signed the card, with a bold signature in blue fountain ink. The index card exhibits some slight darkening. The reverse of the card is blank. The offering is in EXCELLENT condition. The signed card has been encapsulated, with a PSA/DNA CERTIFIED AUTO GRADE of GEM MINT 10 (85642274).
