Wine menu, issued by the Hotel Kenmore in Boston, signed on the front and back covers by the following fifteen members of the 1952 New York Yankees: Mantle, Martin, J. Collins, Silvera, McDougald, Bridweiser, Ostrowski, Noren, Carey, Houk, Woodling, McDonald, Schaeffer, Bauer, and Kuzava. Each of the players has signed the menu in blue ink, with the signatures averaging 8/10. While we do not know the history of this piece, it seems reasonable to assume that a patron of the hotel restaurant ran into the players while dining one evening and took advantage of the situation by having them sign the nearest item at hand, which was the hotel's wine menu.
