Presented is the 1937 New York Yankees team-signed album page with twelve (12) signatures, including Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio. The '37 Yankees, under manager Joe McCarthy, went 102-52 in the regular season to win the AL pennant. The Yankees then defeated the New York Giants, 4-1 in games, in the World Series. Signing the album page: Hall of Famers - Lou Gehrig, who led the AL in games (157), OBP (.473), OPS (1.116), with a .351 batting average, 37 home runs and 158 RBIs; Joe DiMaggio, who led the AL in home runs (46), and slugging (.673); Bill Dickey, who batted .332 with 29 home runs and 133 RBI; Tony Lazzeri, Lefty Gomez, who went 21-11 on the mound; plus, George Selkirk, Bump Hadley, Myril Hoag, Pat Malone, Johnny Murphy, Jake Powell, and John Schulte - who inscribed "Comrad/Abashon[?] Denison[?] Post."

The team-signed album page measures 2.3x6". Written in black fountain ink by an unknown hand on the page, "New York Yankees/Sept - 1937" and on the top right "18." The 12 signatures are all in black or blue fountain ink, and the signatures average about 8/10. The album page exhibits some darkening, particularly above the signatures. The top of the album page has seven (7) punched holes that allow the page to be placed or removed from the album. The album page is in very good condition. The album page has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA CERTIFIED as "AUTHENTIC AUTO." This album page comes from an album of autographs that originated from a Boston Red Sox bat boy. Within this same auction, Lelands has other pages from this same album that feature notable players and teams.
