Rogers Hornsby was one of the best right-handed hitters in baseball history and presented is a Hornsby signed index card.  Known as "the Rajah", the Hall of Fame second baseman played 23 Major League seasons: St. Louis Cardinals (1915-26 & '33), New York Giants (1927), Boston Braves (1928(, Chicago Cubs (1929-32), St. Louis Browns (1933-37). Hornsby was known to eschew seeing movies and reading books because he believed such viewer would harm his vision. His vision-preserving beliefs couldn't have hurt as he was a 6-time NL batting champion, winning three of those crowns with averages above .400: 1922 (.401), 1924 (.424), 1925 (.403). Hornsby was a2-time NL MVP and a 2-time Triple Crown winner who batted a career .358, with 301 home runs.

The blank index card measures 3x5". It exhibits some very slight darkening. Hornsby signed in green fountain ink, crafting a big and bold, flowing signature. The reverse side remains blank. The index card has been encapsulated and has PSA/DNA CEDRTIFIED AUTO GRADE of NM-MT 8 (85643275).
