Displayed is a 1975-76 satin windbreaker that was worn by Atlanta Braves pitcher Bruce Dal Canton during pregame warmups and while in the bullpen or on the bench. Dal Canton was a right-handed started and reliever. In '75, he pitched in four games with the Kansas City Royals before joining Atlanta. With the Braves, he started 9 of the 26 games in which he appeared, and he had a 2-7 record, with a 3.36 ERA and three saves. In '75, he pitched in 42 games, all but one as a reliever. That season he had a 3-5 record, with a 3.56 ERA and one save. The blue jacket has Atlanta in white letters on a red background sewn on to the chest. In the collar is a Wilson manufacturer's tag showing size 46. On the lower left, outside front is 30 in sewn-on white numerals with red trim. Seven blue, metal snap buttons go down the front. On back is DALCANTON (with no separation between DAL and CANTON), in white sewn-on letters with red trim. The jacket shows nice use, with some minor, light paint stains or markings, some loose threads, and a few small scratches on the buttons, but the jacket is in overall good condition.
