Original Type I photograph of Boston Celtics Hall of Fame guard/forward Frank Ramsey, circa 1950s, used in the production of both Ramsey's 1957 Topps rookie basketball card #15 and Ramsey's 1961 Fleer basketball card #35. Ramsey is pictured in uniform as a member of the Celtics as he dribbles toward the camera. Ramsey's name is stamped three times on the reverse. The photo (8x10") remains in Near Mint condition. Photos used in the production of trade cards, especially those of Hall of Fame players, have always been highly prized and appeal to both photograph and card collectors. The fact that this image was used for Ramsey's rookie card only adds to its significance. PSA has encapsulated the photo and certified it as Type I Authentic.
