Page, taken from an A. G. Spalding Bros. company ledger, signed by A. G. Spalding and four other stockholders. The document, which is dated August 17, 1908, notes that the shareholders whose signatures appear at the base have convened for a special meeting and waive any "By-Laws of the Company or of the Statutes of the State of California, with respect to notice of said meeting." Spalding's signature has been boldly scripted in black fountain, but grades 8/10 due to slight bleeding. The document (7.25x11"), which has been affixed to the ledger page (8.5x13.5"), displays several fold lines and light creases. Excellent condition overall.
