1964 Pete Rose Cincinnati Reds game used bat dates from Charlie Hustle's second MLB season, having won Rookie of the Year honors in 1963. Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger has model "S2" stamped on the knob and measures 36.0", weighing 32.5 ounces. The ash bat is uncracked and displays great use including ball marks and stray nicks on the barrel. Rose has signed between trademark and barrel in 9/10 black Sharpie along with "1964" inscription. Comes with PSA/DNA letter grading the bat as GU 8; note that the letter expresses no opinion on the authenticity of the signature. Rose had solid, if unspectacular, numbers for his first two seasons before bursting onto the scene in '65, batting .312 and leading the National League in hits en route to becoming MLB's all-time hits king. JSA LOA for auto.
