One-page typed letter, dated July 31, 1961, signed by Hall of Fame Boston Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey. PSA has encapsulated the letter and certified the signature as "Authentic." In his letter, on Boston Red Sox letterhead, Yawkey writes to E. V. Catoe (former Mayor of Webb, Mississippi) and his wife, thanking them for presenting him with a certificate making Yawkey an honorary Colonel on the Staff of the Governor of Mississippi. Signed "T. A. Yawkey" in blue ink, with the signature grading 8/10. The letter (7.25x10.5") displays two horizontal mailing folds and is in Excellent to Mint condition. Accompanied by its original mailing envelope (7.5x4"; EX-MT) to Catoe.
