Signed framed display commemorating Don Larsen's World Series perfect game in 1956. This piece stands out from other similar displays because, in addition to the signature of Don Larsen, it also includes that of home plate umpire Babe Pinelli and the Dodgers' Dale Mitchell, who struck out to end the game. The centerpiece of the display is a modern-day sepia photo (10x8") of Larsen about to deliver the final pitch, which is inscribed by Larsen in blue Sharpie (grading 10/10): "Don Larsen Last Pitch World Series Perfect Game 10-8-56." Matted below are two unlined index cards. One is inscribed in blue ink (9/10) "Babe Pinelli Umpire Don Larsen - Perfect Game 1956 World Series." The other card is signed in blue ink (8/10) "Best Wishes Dale Mitchell." All the items remain in apparent Near Mint to Mint condition. Total dimensions: 24x20".
