Circa 2007-09 Jean-Sebastien Giguere Anaheim Ducks game used goalie mask shows great use by the star netminder. Bold painting in gold, orange, and black surrounds the hybrid-cage style mask, with clear plastic throat guard still present. Backplate is in similar design, which includes his number 35 and nickname "Jiggy." All straps are present as is all padding, nice use displayed includes a prominent chip on the chin just above the throat guard and another to the top middle bar of the mask. Two labels appear inside, with one reading "Fait au:/Made in Canada" and the other reading, "Pour:/For: JS Giguere" and "Par:/By M. Lefebvre." This was clearly one of multiple masks worn by Giguere during this period as the manufacturer "REEBOK" is spelled out on the forehead just above the mask. We have been able to find action shots of him wearing this style, but it seems he wore a near-identical design with "RBK" for the logo in far more images. Jiguere's phenomenal effort in the 2003 Stanley Cup Playoffs led to him becoming just the fifth player in NHL history to win the Conn Smythe Award as playoff MVP despite playing for the losing team. Undeterred, he did eventually backstop the Ducks to the Stanley Cup in the 2007-08 season. Comes with original heavy duty custom travel bag with Giguere's name embroidered on it in white.
