Rare early-career stick game used by Boston Bruins legend Ray Bourque includes 16 teammate signatures from the 1982-83 season. Sher-Wood PMP 5073 stick is for a left shot and has "Bourque 7" stamped on the shaft. This dates it from the 1979-87 period of his 21 years as a Bruin, as Bourque ceded his number while revealing a change to 77 in a memorable on-ice celebration honoring fellow Boston legend Phil Esposito, who previously wore 7. Much of the cloth tape on the blade has dried and come off except for a few stray strands near the heel. The shaft has white cloth tape at the top which does not form a full butt-end, a feature of Bourque's tape jobs, and number 7 is written in black marker. A piece of white cloth tape runs down one side of the shaft to facilitate signing, which includes: Hall of Famer Brad Park, Wayne Cashman, Keith Crowder, Terry O'Reilly, Rick Middleton, Marty Howe, and more. (The Howe auto definitively dates the stick from '82-83 as that was the only season he played for Boston.)  Comes with JSA LOA.
