Boston Red Sox jacket and hat worn by former Boston Red Sox infielder, coach, and manager Johnny Pesky, circa early 2000s. Both of these items originate directly from Pesky's estate and according to the family, Pesky would wear them when attending Red Sox games during his final years. The red, zipper-front jacket, produced by Majestic, is size Large and displays light wear. The pro-model New Era cap, size 7 1/2, has been signed by Pesky in silver paint pen (grading 9/10) on the underside of the brim. The hat displays light-to-moderate use, with sweat marks on the interior band. Included with the items are two toothpicks and three small bags of candy that were in the pockets when our consignor obtained them from the estate.
