Los Angeles Dodgers home jersey worn by outfielder Andruw Jones during the 2008 season. Jones has personally attested to its game-used status by inscribing the jersey "Andruw Jones Game Used" in silver paint pen (grading 8/10) on the reverse numeral 5, and also providing a one-page typed-signed LOA. The white knit jersey is lettered "Dodgers" across the front and features the number 25 on the left breast and reverse. "Jones" is lettered on the reverse, directly above the number. All lettering and reverse numerals are applied in blue tackle twill. All front numerals are applied in red tackle twill. The "LA" logo appears on the left sleeve, while a Dodgers 50th Anniversary patch adorns the right sleeve. Located on the left front tail are a Majestic 50 label and a strip tag reading "Property of Los Angeles Dodgers 2008." The jersey is original as issued and displays moderate wear. Jones batted .158 with 17 home runs and 43 RBI during his one and only season with the Dodgers in 2008. Considered the greatest defensive center fielder of his era, Jones was also one of the game's top sluggers. In 2005 he led the National League in home runs with a career-high 51 and he retired in 2012 with 434 home runs and 1,289 RBI. Those numbers, along with his 10 Gold Glove Awards have kept him in serious consideration for Hall of Fame induction in recent years.
