Large format studio photograph signed by Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack. Mack has inscribed the matte finish photo in black fountain pen along the base: "With best wishes for a long and happy life/Connie Mack." Both the inscription and signature grade 7.5/10. The photograph, produced by "Wagner's Studio" of Philadelphia, bears the studio's embossed credit stamp in the lower right, above which is the signature of the photographer, "Wm. Wagner," scripted in pencil. While we do not know the identity of the recipient, we can only assume he was someone of importance because this is a high-quality and expensive photograph that would have been presented only to close friends or VIPs. The photo (10.25x13.5"; visible dimensions) displays a tiny abrasion near the base and is otherwise in apparent Near Mint to Mint condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 17x20".
