This is the brilliant blue uniform worn by Joe at the sold-out All Star Practice at the Air Canada Center. Three commemorative patches adorn the jersey including the Canadian flag, the 2000 AS patch and the NHL Center Ice logo. The team logo of the Colorado Avalanche sits square on the chest and “SAKIC” runs across a plate above the stylistic “91 ”. The tail has been embroidered with the CCM, NHL and NHLPA logos. Everything is sewn or embroidered… an impressive uniform. Joe has boldly signed his name on the back numbers of this size 56 uniform. A NHL inventory tag has been sewn into the fight strap and an official LOA signed by the NHL’s Gary Bettman and the NHLPA’s Bob Goodenow accompanies the lot.
