On December 10, 1968, and the early morning hours of the 11th, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dirty Mac (John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell & Keith Richards), Yoko Ono, Jethro Tull, Marianne Faithfull and Taj Mahal got together in a television studio in North London to record a film that was not seen or heard for twenty-eight years. "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus" captures the delirious optimism of an era. Depending on your point of view it was either the high point in the history of the cosmo or a period of mass hallucination (or both). When the project was aborted the LP of the event was shelved and this unused LP proposal was abandoned. An extreme rarity from an unfamous event. Beautifully matted and framed to 22 x 23"
