Nice use in this 1983 Mike Schmidt signed game used Worth Thumper model 500T bat. Period signature of Schmidt is on the barrel in slightly faded blue marker, "MS 35.5" stamped in knob. Shows outstanding use with ball and stitch marks across the barrel, black ink transfers, bat rack streaks, and pine tar residue. Also worthy of note is a ring of tape added to the handle, covering the black Worth rings. As the future Hall of Famer was under contract with Rawlings/Adirondack, the tape was used to hide evident signs of use of another manufacturer's product, making this an even more interesting offering. Measures 35.5" and weighs 33.4 ounces, accompanied by PSA GU 9.5 LOA.
