Colorful collection of PD1 Baseball Position pins in a variety of styles and colors (12). The pins were issued both with and without advertising on the fronts and measure 1.25" each. This collection features different varieties including: (4) white pins with blue uniforms: Catcher (miller back paper); Pitcher (pulver back paper); Second Base (miller back paper; Right Field (no back paper); (2) white pins with red uniforms: Left Field (windrath back paper); Batsman (no back paper); (1) white pin with grey uniform: Umpire (no back paper) (2 splits in celluloid front); (1) multi-colored pin: Captain (no back paper); (3) gold pins with blue uniform: Third Base (whitehead and hoag back paper); Shortstop (partial whitehead and hoag back paper; First Base (blank back paper); (1) Center Field "Eat Heydt's Yankee Bread" on front (whitehead and hoag back paper). Overall condition is Very Good to Excellent with some rusting on the exposed backs (no paper backs) and foxing around the edges.
