This offering is an Eddie Germano original pen and ink drawing featuring Dick Williams and Snoopy. The Snoopy was used with special permission by Charles Schultz but Schultz did not draw any of the images. The piece is dated 7/3/69 and has pencil notations in the margins, it is in Excellent condition. Eddie Germano was born in Boston on November 15th, 1924. He started working at age 16 for the Boston Post before a stint in the US Army. After the military, he worked in several newspapers until 1968 when he joined the Brockton Enterprise where he began a career in sports cartooning. Germano is best known for his Boston Globe work which began in 1971 and he is famous for his sports cartoons featuring hall of fame members and Boston area sports icons.
