Renowned sports cartoonist Eddie Germano spent the majority of his career depicting Boston sports teams and stars. This dazzling collection of original pen and ink works on artist paper focus on the Red Sox and serves as a chronicle of their achievements, primarily during the 1970s, '80s and '90s. Among the players depicted: Clemens, Fisk, Eckersley, Pedro, Yaz, Burks, Wise, Campbell, hobson, Seaver, Wakefield, Varitek, Evans, Carbo and the "hated" Reggie Jackson. Several are from the 1986 era, including Rice, Boyd, Armas and the arrivals of Frank Viola and Andre Dawson. Germano published a book called Red Sox Drawing Board, and undoubtedly, several of these pieces were included.
