Great specimen available in this 2002 Derek Jeter game used bat. Graded by PSA as GU 9 with LOA, tons of ball marks are present throughout the barrel with a prominent red mark towards the end. The LOA states that the ball marks may be from 2004 All-Star Game baseballs; in the 2004 All-Star Game, Jeter had three hits with all three being opposite field, thus it would make sense that the red marks towards the end of the bat were from opposite field hits. Heavy coat of pine tar on handle going all the way to center brand, bat measures 34" and weighs 33.8 ounces. Per the LOA, it isn't unusual for players to use bats well after their order date, which appears to be the case here. Jeter crashed 23 homers in the 2004 season, the second highest total in his majestic 20-year career.
