Nice run of first and second series Topps baseball cards from 1952, including a GD-VG example of #1 Andy Pafko, with good color and nicely centered. Other specials include #2 Pete Runnels, #48 Joe Page, #49 Johnny Sain, and a few other Yankees and Dodgers. Cards grade a fairly consistent GD-VG, with 10% better and a handful lesser. Of the 100 cards from the first series, 40 are duplicates (with 24 being black backs); the other 50 cards are from the second series, with 27 duplicates. Overall, the cards have decent centering but are pretty well-loved. If you’re looking for a nice start to the iconic ’52 Topps baseball set and don’t want to spend a fortune doing it, this just might be the lot for you!
