Great lot of HOF postcards from the late '40s thru the early '60s, displaying images of plaques from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. All are sepia-toned except for the three newest, listed last. This great collection includes: 1-6) Total of six (6) 1946 – 1952 Albertype cards, including Brouthers, Pennock Delahanty, Cummings, Ewing and Spaulding. Postcards display minor issues at the corners, but otherwise fine condition. 7-73) Total of (67) 1953–1955 Artvue cards (Type I), including Ruth, Gehrig, Cobb, Johnson, Speaker, Collins, Comiskey, Mathewson, Alexander, Lajoie, Mack, Anson, Bender, Chesbro, etc. – many of the great ones! Most exhibit slight wear at the corners, but are generally sharp; a handful possibly slightly trimmed. 74-86) Total of (13) 1956–1963 Artvue cards (Type II), including "3 Fingered" Moreecai Brown, Carey, Feller, Ott, Jackie Robinson, Speaker, Simmons, Spaulding and Wagner. Again, slight wear mostly on corners, but generally in fine condition. 87-89)
Also included are three (3) newer postcard plaques (colored), for Sam Rice, Jackie Robinson and Bob Feller (signed).
A fine collection of assorted HOF plaques/postcards, most in very collectable EX to EX-MT condition!
Total of 89 postcards.
