This incredibly rare and unique style hat is the most original example we've ever handled. The only other example we've ever examined had the inside leather band replaced and was not as authentic. This remarkable Wilson cap has the Thomas Wilson stamp in the leather band and is 100% original including the button on top. The beautifully embroidered "NY" is blue with red highlighted tips that has slightly faded from time. Shows fine use with a slight tear where the brim meets the body, wear on the button and a few loose threads hear and there; overall outstanding condition. Although there is no player's name found on the hat, we know for certain that this is a 1924 New York Giants game used example. Just imagine the things it would say if it could talk.
