Extremely rare 1931 Tour of Japan baseball scroll. The scroll is approximately 75" long by 16" wide. The ends of the scroll are weighted with what we believe to be ivory. The artwork on the scroll was beautifully done by Kousen. The scroll can be translated to read: "November 1931 US Baseball Team Comes TO Japan, sketch of a fine play. The image on the scroll is very similar to the one on the cover of the 1931 Tour of Japan program with a blue pinstripe and Yankee look. This is a high quality piece with expensive ink on paper.
