Smith for the Spring 1942 season. The meet featured his first start on June 1. 2) Queen's County Jockey Club badge # 715 for the 1942 meet with original string attached. CF made his 2nd & 3rd lifetime starts on June 15 and June 19. Whirlaway also raced at the meet on June 13, 22 & 27, winning the last two. 3) In conjunction with CF's third start, and first victory on June 19, is an original framed photograph by Bert Morgan presented to the jockey John Longden. It has the original frame and inscribed matting. Two photos appear, one crossing the finish line and the other in the winner's circle. It was subsequently sold by Longden's estate. The dimensions are 14 ½" x 19." (Citation) 1) Havre De Grace spring meeting 1947 pass# 817 with all 25 race day tickets intact. Citation made his first venture in a race on April 22, and his third start at the track on May 21. The original string is attached. 2) Maryland Jockey Club owner & trainer pass# 11139 for the 1947 spring meet with all tickets intact and original string attached. Citation made his 2nd start on May 3. All three races resulted in a victory, and all were ridden by ill-fated rider Al Snider who was replaced by Eddie Arcaro who won the TC.
