The centerpiece of this lot is a spectacular 11"x14" photo, matted to 14x18", depicting New York Yankees shortstop Phil Rizzuto in mid-air after being taken out by a sliding Jackie Robinson in the 1947 World Series. A sign of the respect between the teams and players, Rizzuto himself has inscribed the picture in clear, blue Sharpie, "I was never hit so hard - 'Holy Cow'" with Scooter's signature below. The matte includes a cut autograph stating "Best Wishes, Jackie Robinson," in blue pen. As a bonus, this lot comes with a 1950's Brooklyn Dodgers Brooklyn Bum squeeze toy which stands just over 6" tall.
