This circa 1973-74 Dallas Cowboys jersey was worn early in the career - perhaps in the rookie season - of standout wide receiver Drew Pearson. Game worn and signed, it is something of an anomaly as it is blue. As many fans know, the Cowboys wear white at home and as teams generally wear their color jerseys on home turf, they have seldom worn blues over the years. This may even have been specially made for a cold-weather opponent as it has a handwarmer pocket stitched onto the front. Pearson's number 88 is on the front, back, and sleeves and "Pearson" is sewn on a plate on back (no initial, as his brother Preston did not join the Cowboys until 1975). It is signed on back in blue Sharpie with "1973-74" inscription, has Southland and size 44 tags in neck, and reinforced threading on front and back numbers. Drew was part of the Super Bowl XII Championship squad and was named to the Pro Bowl three times in his career.
