McMullen was a utility infielder for the White Sox but played a prominent role in the Black Sox conspiracy as he served as the advance scout for the team. He delivered a flawed report to the "clean" Black Sox players which initially covered he and his co-conspirators. According to the PSA population report, this is the highest graded example.
