"Beauty" started his career in 1909 in the Minnesota-Wisconsin League, making it to the Big Show in 1915. The talented infielder served as player and manager until 1930 for the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants, Boston Braves and Brooklyn Robins. He also coached/managed for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
