Grab this scarce Official American Football League game used football from Nov. 13, 1966, Houston Oilers versus Boston Patriots. Ball reads, "1966 Oilers 21 Patriots 27" and in large letters "GLICK." Condition is used. Joe Foss (AFLs first commissioner) on ball. Freddy Glick was an effective safety who played both in the NFL and the AFL. He was a three-time all-star in the AFL. Glick played only three games for the Houston Oilers in 1966. He did not play in the November 13th game that is noted on the football, but he did play the week before in a loss to the Oakland Raiders and had an interception. That turned out to be his final pro football game as a player, so this game ball must have been given to him as a mark of friendship by his teammates.
