Nice trove of real postcards that exhibit the flavor of local baseball teams from over a century ago. 1) "EC" on jersey with bear as sleeve - likely stands for "Cubs," circa 1907 Cubs era. 2) "Umpire" team 1906 with lovely "Gibson Girls" courting. 3) 1913 "FBL Champions" from Moline with gaudy trophy and "Marseilles." 4) May 6, 1916, "Snider's Catsup" Company team with sign stadium next to factory. 5) "Over the Hill" team w/"Doc Plietz" painted doctor's bag. 6) Rectory team with large priests and Bowery Boys looking players similar to Babe Ruth's St. Mary's. 7) Northern Pacific Railroad team with flag. 8) 1910 Coffeyville (Kansas) White Sox 29/30 games and the pitcher is an Indian. 9) 1908 Lima Ohio photo montage. 10) Early "Ohio" team. 11) 1910 written to Cleveland Indian "Nevl Ball" Player wearing Cleveland jersey. 12-13) Buckhorn (PA) team and single player with hands at waist.
