Great game worn 1982 jersey from Hall of Fame middle linebacker Jack Lambert. Lambert was a mainstay of the Steelers defense. Lambert often had to drop back into the middle on pass coverage in an area often covered by safeties, and his speed made that possible. He had lost four front teeth in high school basketball, and Lambert played NFL games without his dental plate, leading to numerous iconic photos of his toothless menace. His great defense helped the Steelers to wins in Super Bowls IX, X, XIII, and XIV. Thirteen team repairs throughout jersey. Paint transfers, abrasions, loose threads. Year "82" tag along with Sand-Knit and Steelers tags on tail. Comes directly from the Pittsburgh Steelers with Steelers COA. Photo-matched to Getty Image #71544816.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives Jerseys will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
