A three-time All-Star, Sparky Lyle won the American League Cy Young Award in 1977 and led the American League in saves in both 1972 and 1976. With the Yankees, Lyle was a member of the World Series champions in 1977 and 1978, both over the Los Angeles Dodgers. From his days in New York comes this signed game used Yankees cap. The New Era hat shows plenty of use with dirt and wear. The bill of the hat is dry, cracked and some loose pieces are noticed. This fine example is, however, signed in silver by Lyle and the inscription reads, "My Game Used Hat - 77 AL Cy - 77 WS Champs - 78 WS Champs."
