Also a two-time 20-game winner, he set the MLB record for most years between 20-win seasons with 10. That's some resume. From his early days as a New York Met comes this MEARS (A9) authenticated 1988 All-Star Game Uniform. This classic Mets pullover home pinstripe beauty has everything collectors look for. The Rawlings interior tail tag reads size "42" and is accompanied by the "Set 1 1988." Adjacent the manufactures tag are two rectangular swatches that read, "88 1 44" and "Cone 1988 All Star Game." The matching pants are also Rawlings and size 34. On either side of the manufactures tag you'll notice two rectangular swatches sewn on that read, "44 Cone 88 1 34 27" and "Cone 1988 All Star Game." A "Set 1 1988" flag is present as well and firmly attached. Although there are no team repairs or All-Star game patch this uniform does however show moderate use with stains, dirt, loose threads and that vintage "well used" feel. Nice find.
