From Johnny Pesky's personal collection comes this game winning hit ball from the 1947 15-inning game against St. Louis. It was 1:10 in the 15th inning when Pesky hit this ball and won the game in front of 35,000 tired fans. Ball shows great use, is weathered and is inscribed, "Boston-6 - St. Louis -5 - June 18 1947 - ATT 35000 - Night - Time - 4 Hours 20 Minutes - Pesky Single Wins - Game Ends at 110 AM." Inscription appears to be traced over, perhaps by Pesky himself.
