Offered here is a large group of N245 Famous Actress tobacco cards, issued by Sweet Caporal, Duke’s, Old Judge, Admiral, etc. in their tobacco products in the late 19th century. Virtually all cards are brown sepia-toned (a handful are in color) and overall present in FR to VG-EX condition with 10% lesser (mostly from back damage, some with pencil notations). 8 cards are present in clear cellophane, quite possibly as they were originally issued! The famous and the not-so-famous are all included, everyone from Lillian Russell to Bertha Cameron. While it is unknown exactly how many different images were produced for these actress cards, it would be safe to say that the vast majority can be found here! Some ‘Beware of Imitations’ Sweet Caporal backs (not often seen) are also included.  Total of 380+ cards
