Fantastic photograph (6.5x8") is an early one. Hall of Famer Tris Speaker was one of the greatest center fielders in history. He batted a career .345, and six times hit .380 or higher. Defensively, he played far in towards second base, as his speed and ability to go back on fly balls made this possible. Speaker was part of the Boston Red Sox "Million-Dollar Outfield" at this time, with Duffy Lewis in left and Harry Hooper in right. In photo, Speaker is wearing a collared home jersey with BOSTON on the front. "Speaker" is written on the front in fountain ink. The photo is mounted on paper, so it would not be able to be graded by PSA, but we strongly believe that this was printed in the teens and certainly from the original negative. "Speaker" is also written on the back and one small piece of tape also on the back, but overall EX appearance.
