Mario Lemieux one of the all-time greats, proudly wore the "C" just like the one on this MASKA jersey for many years as he helped the Penguins become one of the most feared teams in the NHL. Written in black marker on the neck tag is "66" and "c" indicating this jersey was created for and issued to Mario. The all black size 54 jersey was cleaned and shows light use with light pilling present across the front just below the "Pittsburgh" lettering. The Hockey Hall of Fame inducted Lemieux immediately after his retirement in 1997 instead of waiting the standard three-year waiting period. When Lemieux returned in 2000, he became the third Hall of Famer to play after being inducted just like Gordie Howe and Guy Lafleur.
