2) Nice group of turn-of-the-century UK footballers, produced in 1910 by Gallaher Cigarettes. Overall the group presents in a very respectable collector grade of VG-EX to EX, with a few having marks or light stains on the reverse. Fun cards for those who like the UK’s brand of football! Includes #1 Wedlock, #2 Gettins, #5 McCartney, #12 Dainty, #59 Kitchin, #67 Munday, #74 Yenson, #77 Stewart, #78 Hay, #93 Robertson and #98 Wheelshouse.
3) Nice group of ‘champion pool & billiard players’ from the early 20th century, issued by Mecca Cigarettes. Group includes Albert Cutler (EX, but light stain and paper loss on back), Jerome Keogh (EX+, light stain on back), Orlando Morningstar (VG, great corners but creased) and Willie Hoppe (GD, nice image and corners but light paper loss on front and substantial paper loss on back). Nice collection from long ago!
