Great collection of signed baseballs by three Red Sox star left-fielders, plus an infielder from their biggest rival who almost became a Red Sox star. 1) Signed by the last man to hit over .400, Ted Williams signed ball. Upper Deck Authenticated. 154/1941. Comes with a sealed letter of authenticity from Upper Deck, plus small Upper Deck bag for the baseball plus an Upper Deck box. 2) Another signed baseball by left-fielder Ted Williams. Signature on sweet spot. No authentication. 3) Carl Yastrezemski signed baseball. "Yaz" took over from Williams in left-field in 1961 and became a solid hitter who won the Triple Crown in 1967, a year the Red Sox reached the World Series. "Carl Yastrezemski HOF 1989" signed on sweet spot. No authentication.4) Manny Ramirez signed baseball, comes with a small handwritten tapped card that is signed by consignor John Festa and says the ball was signed on March 15, 2002 at City of Palms Park, Fort Myers, Florida. Ramirez was a great hitter, launching 555 home runs and becoming the 2004 World Series MVP when the Red Sox won their first World Series in 85 years. Unfortunately, he was also noted for his unusual on-and-off field actions, "Manny being Manny" it was termed. 5) Alex Rodriguez signed baseball. Comes with a small handwritten signed card from consignor John Festa that states that the ball was signed on March 15, 2002. Rodriguez was part of a bidding war between the New York Yankess and the Red Sox when he was a free agent before the 2004 season. He signed with New York and wound up with 655 home runs.
