Incredibly rare one cent 1938 Gum Inc. Horrors of War yellow pack is one of only 12 that were recently discovered in the Fleer Archives. Before the discovery, no Horrors of War unopened wax packs were known to exist! One of the finer examples, this has received a grade of NM 7 by PSA. In 1938 Gum Inc. issued the Horrors of War and they became an instant hit with their bright colors and attention-grabbing graphics. Their gruesome details and explicit text showed American children the atrocities that were happening abroad. This set is one of, if not the, most famous non-sports card set ever produced. And the future for this piece is bright. With the dynamic popularity of vintage pack breaks, it is only a matter of time before it spreads to the non-sports field.
