Signed by 1945 Heisman Trophy winner Doc Blanchard, and by Glen Davis and other 9 starters. Blanchard, known as "Mister Inside" for his runs up the middle, was this squad's fullback. Davis, a halfback known as "Mister Outside" for his speed around end, was awarded the Heisman Trophy the next season, 1946. 11 signatures; some are faded and tough to read. This team was a powerhouse. In their last three games they defeated number 2 ranked Notre Dame 48-0, number 6 ranked Penn 61-0, and number 2 ranked Navy 32-13.
