Two nice B&W photos of tough Tony Canzoneri. One of the very rare boxers who held World Titles in three separate divisions - in Canzoneri's case: Featherweight, Junior Welterweight, and Welterweight. In the taller photo (framed 12.5x18"), Canzoneri is very spiffy in coat and tie, but his face reveals a denizen of the ring, one to be reckoned with. Some spotting around the background. The other photo (framed 12.5x14.4") comes with a signed/inscribed cut. Excellent condition. Interestingly, Canzoneri did some acting and appeared in an uncredited actor as a second in a fight scene in the movie "The Quiet Man", starring John Wayne. The 5'4" combative Canzoneri was almost a foot shorter than Wayne. Where would the smart money have gone if they fought?
