You can almost hear the Baltimore Colts Fight Song playing as you focus on the signatures on this replica Baltimore Colt helmet - four of the players who played for the Colts in both the '58 and '59 championship games: Lenny Moore, great breakaway running back, HOF '75; Raymond Berry, outstanding possession receiver HOF '73; Gino Marchetti, terrific defensive end, HOF '72; Art Donovan, defensive tackle and later day comic talk show guest, HOF '68. This was the team that won the overtime NFL Championship Game in '58 over the New York Giants, a game some termed "The Greatest Game Ever Played". Then the Colts defeated the Giants again in '59 for a repeat championship. Helmet was signed at a private signing.
