These all original Pittsburgh Pirates game worn pants were issued and used by Vince DiMaggio. The embroidered name tag reads "V DiMaggio" and is sewn onto the waist along the embroidered size "36", set "1" and the year "'44." On the fly just below the button, the number "9" can be seen embroidered in red. The red and blue edging that goes around the belt loops and down the legs is still brightly colored and in firmly attached. One of the rear pocket buttons is missing but the other two remain and appear to be original. With the exception of a few small holes here and there, the pants are in very good condition with no obvious damage or repairs and present very well. I wonder who has the matching jersey?
